The Balakian family’s commitment to “Delivering the Taste!” in their wide range of premium fruits is reflected in all aspects of their cultural, packing and cooling operations. For example, the same planting, pruning, thinning and picking disciplines are in place across all 16,000 Fruit Patch acres, guided by the Balakian’s experience and expertise. In 2003, nearly twelve million boxes of juicy, tasty fruits were cooled and loaded in the newest and most advanced facility in the industry.
Fruit Patch has partnered with other top quality companies, such as Big Penny and Sundale grapes, Scattaglia late season stone fruit, Arboleda plums, and Pinkham persimmons, to “Deliver the Taste!” of a full complement of premium tree fruits and table grapes.
