 In 1976, Leo Balakian bought a 30-acre ranch, complete with peach and nectarine trees and a packing shed. He moved his family to the ranch so they could grow up learning about farming and pitching in with the responsibilities of growing, harvesting and packing.  Leo’s sons, Vincent and Anthony, continue to maintain that uniquely personal interest in growing their peaches, plums and nectarines.  “Farming becomes your whole life,” says Anthony.  “You take pride in selling a product you’ve carefully grown.”  The Balakians successfully created a company to endure the pressures of the industry. 

Fruit Patch has a large supply of peaches, plums and nectarines.  We are focused on providing the best quality product and un-paralleled customer service.  Our facility features 20 Cold Storage rooms with over 150,000 square feet of storage, including pre-conditioning rooms, and fumigation chambers.  We are confident that our staff will provide reliable, consistent service before and after the sale to ensure that our customers are getting the quality in the product they were promised.
