If you are sourcing product from several suppliers, can you be sure that growing, packing and cooling practices are consistent across all facilities?

New trucking regulations will make it harder than ever to achieve on-time delivery at your receiving dock. At Fruit Patch you can pick up all your valley fruits in one place and get your truck out fast. Under new federal regulations, truck drivers will be required to operate on a 24-hour service schedule, rather than the current 18-hour day. The new regulations limit drivers to 11 consecutive hours of service plus an additional three hours of non driving-related work for a total of 14 hours per day of duty. However, drivers will now be required to take a 10-hour break between driving, rather than an eight-hour break. Because waiting time will no longer count toward the driver’s rest period, the amount of time that a driver can spend on the road will be reduced if he has to wait to be loaded, unloaded, or to complete paperwork.

Did You Know? Not one box of tree fruit is packed in a Fruit Patch label unless the product is packed at the Fruit Patch packing facility. Using Fruit Patch's specially designed equipment, we can ensure that if you see the Fruit Patch Label, you will receive consistently excellent quality.
